Rating: 5 out of 5.

We’ve been here several times and every time has been absolutely beautiful. It’s a state park so you get all the usual benefits of that: pretty clean and well-maintained areas, camping, hiking trails, places to picnic, restrooms, etc. But, of course, the best part is the High Shoals Falls waterfall. Sure, it’s a very physically taxing hike up to the top of the waterfall but if you’re able to do it, it is a gorgeous and picturesque site.
